Posted by Arti Sneha

Ahead of the Grammy Awards 2017, the Recording Academy has announced that it will be giving "unforgettable tributes" to Prince and George Micheal. This comes 3 days before the grand Grammys 2017.

As of now, it is not sure that who will win big at the Grammys, but according to speculations, John Legend may be doing the honor. It is worth noting that this decision is not final.

Neil Portnow, President and CEO of Recording Academy said that," George Michael and Prince were pop icons who showcased rare musical genius and otherworldly charisma. While each possessed a distinct style and sound, they were both adored by audiences worldwide. The passings of two such creative innovators were a huge loss for the creative community; The Recording Academy is humbled to pay homage to their tremendous legacies on the Grammy stage."

Ken who is the Grammy producer said the same in an interview with the Rolling Stone. The balance in the show will be maintained. The timing and schedule will be adjusted. He also said that he wants to focus more on giving tributes to the incredibly talented nominated artists.
